Louisiana rules

Titles, disposal, and the rules that matter in Louisiana

Boats: titling and registration run through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. If you do not have the title, there is a release or abandoned-vessel process and we prepare it with you before pickup. Common waters: Lake Pontchartrain, the Gulf Coast, the Atchafalaya Basin and the Mississippi River.

RVs, campers, and vehicles: untitled or abandoned units go through the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles. We tell you exactly what to sign so the unit can legally leave your property, and you get documentation.

Disposal: Post-storm debris rules change parish by parish and we track them so your load goes to the right place. Hazardous materials such as paint, solvents, chemicals, and asbestos go through your county's household hazardous waste program, not through us. Everything else is sorted for donation and recycling first.
