the Lone Star State

Texas

Junk, boats, RVs, cleanouts across the Lone Star State.

Everything is bigger, including the boat left in the side yard since Harvey and the fifth wheel that never made it back from the deer lease. We cover the Gulf Coast, the Triangle, and the Hill Country with heavy trailers built for Texas-sized jobs.

This page is the map of everything Lucky Hauling does in Texas: 803 cities and towns, 15 services, and the state rules that affect boats and RVs. Every city and every service below has its own page.

Services in Texas

15 services, statewide

Every service is available in every Texas city we list. Each one has a statewide page with local rules, and a page for every city.

  1. 01

    Junk Removal

Point at it. It's gone. Full-service junk removal for homes, garages, storage units, and job sites.

  2. 02

    Junk Hauling

Truck, crew, and trailer for the big loads. Junk hauling is for the jobs that need more than a pickup: multi-truck cleanouts, bulk debris, and heavy or awkward loads that need a trailer and a winch.

  3. 03

    Above Ground Pool Removal

Drained, dismantled, hauled, and the yard raked flat. We take down above ground pools completely: liner, wall panels, frame, deck attachments, pump, and filter.

  4. 04

    Property Cleanout

Whole-house, estate, and rental turnovers on a deadline. Estate cleanouts, foreclosure and eviction turnovers, and whole-property clear-outs handled start to finish.

  5. 05

    Bed Bug Furniture Removal

Sealed, removed, and disposed of without spreading it. Infested mattresses, box springs, couches, and upholstered furniture removed with sealed wraps and a dedicated protocol so the problem does not travel through your hallway or your building.

  6. 06

    RV Removal

Running or not, titled or not, gone in a day. Motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and abandoned campers removed from driveways, storage lots, farms, and back fields.

  7. 07

    Pop Up Camper Removal

Collapsed roofs and rotted canvas are exactly what we expect. Pop-up and tent campers are light enough that people think they can deal with them later, and heavy enough that they never do.

  8. 08

    Hoarding Cleanout

Discreet, patient, and done in stages if that's what it takes. Hoarding cleanouts are as much about people as about volume.

  9. 09

    Camper Removal

Truck campers, slide-ins, and trailers off the property. Slide-in truck campers, small travel trailers, and teardrops removed whether they are on a truck, on jacks, or sitting on blocks in the weeds.

  10. 10

    Boat Removal

Fishing boats to cabin cruisers, from driveway, dock, or yard. Boat removal takes marine-rated straps, trailers rated for oversized loads, and the experience to back down a marina ramp.

  11. 11

    Sailboat Removal

Mast down, keel handled, hull hauled. Sailboats need a different plan than powerboats: the mast has to come down, the keel changes how the hull sits on a trailer, and marinas want it done without disturbing the neighbors.

  12. 12

    Sunken Boat Recovery

Pumped, floated, and out of the water before it becomes a fine. A swamped or sunk boat at the dock is a spill risk, a navigation hazard, and in many states a ticking fine.

  13. 13

    Boat Refloating

Grounded or swamped, back on the water without a wrecker. Not every boat in trouble needs to be scrapped.

  14. 14

    Fence Removal

Posts pulled, concrete footings out, line raked clean. Wood, chain link, vinyl, and wrought iron fences removed including the posts and the concrete they are set in.

  15. 15

    Carpet Removal

Carpet, pad, and tack strips out before the installers arrive. Whole-house carpet and pad removal, including the tack strips and staples, hauled away the same day.

Texas rules

Titles, disposal, and the rules that matter in Texas

Boats: titling and registration run through Texas Parks and Wildlife. If you do not have the title, there is a release or abandoned-vessel process and we prepare it with you before pickup. Common waters: the Gulf Coast, Galveston Bay, Lake Travis and Lake Conroe.

RVs, campers, and vehicles: untitled or abandoned units go through the Texas DMV. We tell you exactly what to sign so the unit can legally leave your property, and you get documentation.

Disposal: Texas has cheap landfill space but big distances, so the drive is a bigger factor than tipping fees. Hazardous materials such as paint, solvents, chemicals, and asbestos go through your county's household hazardous waste program, not through us. Everything else is sorted for donation and recycling first.

Sound familiar?

The calls we get most in Texas

Every Texas call starts with a story. Most of them sound like one of these.

  1. 01

The garage you cannot park in (junk removal)

Ten years of bikes, boxes, and a broken treadmill. We clear it in a morning and you park inside by lunch.

  2. 02

    Moving day leftovers (junk removal)

The movers took the good stuff. The old couch, the mattress, and forty boxes of maybe are still in the living room.

  3. 03

The family home after a loss (property cleanout)

Decades of belongings, a probate deadline, and siblings in three states. We sort with you and clear the rest.

  4. 04

The tenant who left everything (property cleanout)

Furniture, food in the fridge, and bags of clothes. The unit needs to show next week.

  5. 05

The motorhome that has not started in years (rv removal)

Flat tires, a seized engine, and a tarp that gave up two winters ago. It needs a flatbed, not a tow strap.

  6. 06

    Inherited and unwanted (rv removal)

Dad's fifth wheel is in the side yard, the title is somewhere, and the estate needs it gone.

  7. 07

    The driveway boat (boat removal)

It came with a plan to fix it up. That was six years ago. The neighbors have stopped asking.

  8. 08

    The marina's ultimatum (boat removal)

The slip is due, the boat does not run, and the dockmaster wants it out by the end of the month.

Questions

Texas questions, answered

Do you cover all of Texas?

We list every incorporated city and town with more than a thousand residents, 803 in total, across the Gulf Coast, the Hill Country, North Texas, the Rio Grande Valley, West Texas and East Texas. If yours is smaller, we almost certainly still cover it; call and we confirm.

Are you licensed and insured in Texas?

Yes. General liability and auto coverage on every job in Texas, and a certificate of insurance emailed on request before the crew arrives.

Can you take a boat or RV without a title in Texas?

Usually. Boats go through Texas Parks and Wildlife and vehicles through the Texas DMV, each with a release process for untitled or abandoned units. We prepare the paperwork with you.

How fast can you get to me in Texas?

Same-day and next-day windows are common in the larger metros. Smaller towns are usually scheduled within a few days. Call early in the day for the best chance at same-day.

Where does everything go?

Donation first, recycling second, licensed disposal last. Texas has cheap landfill space but big distances, so the drive is a bigger factor than tipping fees.

What won't you take?

Paint, solvents, chemicals, asbestos, and medical waste. Your county hazardous waste program handles those. Almost everything else goes.
